Hi everybody,
After installing the magnificent release of R2R, (to which I will thank you forever for your work), I cant load Summit Audio Grand Channel Console 1, maybe the files for the console are missing, the plugin loads perfectly but not the entire channel strip in console 1. Is it just me or does it happen to someone else? Thank you all. Happy New Year.

 

i had a little trouble getting it to work too but it does work.. i just kept reinstalling it and restarting my pc until it worked.. i think i restarted about 4 times.. see pic

 

Are you using console 1 hardware?
I cannot find anywhere to switch the channelstrip..

Yea someone posted how to get it to work. I had the same problem but it's working.

Install the R2R console 1 strips, open softube center app and let it load, close it, install the strips again, restart computer, then just run your daw with console 1 and it should work.

 

well.. as a console 1 owner, sometimes it even happens with legit one.. the best way is to exit OSD entirely before installing. But before installing, just double-check ur OSD version, Softube portal installer can mess up sometimes via auto-update installation. It even happen to me the console 1 plugin version not match with the OSD version, I had to delete OSD manually and reinstall it.

the thing u need to try first after install is to reset the OSD, it will try to scan the plugin back,

if it didn't work, just quit the console 1 OSD, and re-run it again, this one usually works (also restart your pc could work too). If still doesn't, try to check if the Summit Audio SSX Input and Output file exist or not.

For Summit Audio channel strip, it is a little special case, the plugin is originally not a Console 1 exclusive, it is Console 1 ready extension. So u kinda need to install all 3 of em (the channel strip, the eq and the compressor) for the whole C1 strip working, because the channel VST only install the input and output SSX. So u need the eq and comp for the individual SSX module.

To change to the strip, on the Console 1 hardware, holds the button "shift" on the lower far left and presses the button "strip" on top at the select track, the menu can be manoeuvre with volume knob and press solo to select or mute to cancel.

And for without hardware, there is no way you can change the strip unless hex to made a preset file for your daw.

Hey guys, do you think it's worth getting the hardware? I like the software, a little difficult to control without the actual console 1. Can you map the console hardware to use with another software? Thanks.

I have tried all these suggestions and it still shows in my menu as info/buy. Is there a REAL working fix for Summit Grand and C1?
