I'm working on Ableton 10.1, and having the Weiss Compressor Limiter on one channel, playing a few notes in Push on another channel gives me a kind of delay in the MiDi signal (I don't know if I explain myself) someone else experiencing this ? When I remove the Weiss from channel 1, it doesn't happen anymore

It will give you a delay on every channel. This is called e. g. PDC (plugin delay compensation) and is caused by the latency the Weiss C/L produces. When your DAW compensates for this, all channels are delayed by this amount so they're all in sync.

 

So if I understood correctly (English is not my native language) is it completely normal and I don't have to worry or is there a solution? Because there is also a delay in the signal that the synth sends

Yes, that's normal. A solution would be not to use plugins with high latency as long as you're recording (MIDI or audio) but only when mixing.

Thank you very much, yes I think I'll use it for mixing once I have the mix finished, the same goes for the DS1 MK3 but not the Weiss EQ1 that's what caught my attention

Yes I know its for mastering , but i have 32gb of ram i5 8th gen It seemed strange to me that other weiss plugins don't have this problem and those 2 do, that's why I asked if it was normal or just a problem with the release

 

I also experienced some consistent crashes using AmpRoom with BlueCat'sAudio PatchWork, on Cakewalk performs fine

 

I don't think so. This is happening only with softube plugs. Once you get them out from the sessions, PT works great. I disable that openGL stuff and didn't solve for me. I will wait a little more. Maybe they got a fix soon...Anways I can work and save the sessions even knowing it will crash then.

Also had recent issues with StereoDelta. Introduced into project & started getting clicks like data was being read from a 5400RPM heavily fragmented HDD. Removed & problems went away. Loaded into Reaper to confirm odd PDC behavior.
With ASIO buffer @ 128, reported PDC for StereoDelta was 1280-1288. Not 0 or 128.

Tried DrMS a few years ago with extremely limited & unsatisfactory results.
