You know it's available new for $49 from Softube right now.

$4 off the new price for a used license doesn't seem particularly good value...

Threads like this are gross. Nice way to show support for the developers. Every time there is something new cracked, here you are with another sale.

 

Afair i saw that one on sale for about 20-30$ a couple times..

 

Well, I bought my licence in one of the Softube sales, it was about $35 from them iirc. Worth every penny.

 

After testing Softube Harmonics extensively yesterday and Tape this morning, I decided to buy both, as they are both at a really discounted price too, and they sound wonderful. The great hand that R2R is personally giving me is to help me test the products that I really need in my workflow, so that I can also support the companies that provide me with these tools. It is not correct what you are doing from my point of view...

I fully agree.
However, this is also a matter of education. If that is not desired here, one can develop a mechanism to curb that.
I don't think all users (*) have forgotten the warez idea, but many of the very new users or those who don't participate obviously don't care. These are exactly the ones who want to have everything but give nothing even though they could.

The attitude this represents, by the way, is why I've been watching the "Big Wave" a bit with mixed emotions: Instead of being happy, the greedy are getting even greedier. This has also become apparent in the last few days.

An odd truth:
It is good for all of us that there are not so many good release groups anymore. If there were, many app developers would have had to give up their jobs and we would all be poorer in terms of a wide range of software at affordable prices.
