It is one of the most important and renowned audio companies in the world, on a par with Brainworx and UAD. Their products are fantastic, after all, now that R2R has brought them to us as gifts, you can check for yourself how they sound...

 

Really (genuine) Softube is, when you see the R2R Logo as certificate of authenticity!

Speaking of soft, micro and soft always cracks me the most.

First of all the metaphorical meaning regarding their hugely bloated software, and second also metaphorical meaning but much, much more kinkier.

 

I think the name is just that, keeps you in check so you can focus and be productive. Plugins such as VMR and Soothe, for example, give people such a hard on that they forget they can function with other plugins. Thus the name Softube, really is telling you what you're in for.

 

for those whom sarcasm is lost on.... Softube = "Soft'"ware - tube.

 

So I heard... UAD is actually outsourcing to softube.....
