What folders should I check to completely erase them? I was thinking of completely uninstalling vsts I dont need. Any help will be appreciated.

I had a problem uninstalling AUDIOTOP*** plugins since the Program Data route doesnt work for me. I tried it and running it in admin doesnt help and it keeps telling I should run it in admin when im already running it in admin lol.

u can open those .bat files of the AudioTop** releases with notepad. There u can see all the files the bat file would delete

However these paths are commonly used for vst (64x)
    C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns
    C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

if u use ProTools for aax (64x)
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

Try using the uninstaller. Every VST installer is a little different in where they write to. In addition to folder locations, there are also registry entries.

I second that (Revo Uninstaller Pro), sometimes typing in Regedit I still find some reg files left so I delete from there too.

    These, and potentially also

    C:\ProgramData\<name>\
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\<name>

    %APPDATA%\<name>

    C:\Users\<username>\Documents\<name>\

Where <name> is either the manufacturer's or the plugin's name

%APPDATA% is usually "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\", but open "%APPDATA%" in Explorer or "cd %APPDATA%" in the command prompt to check.

I've been recommending Revo Uninstaller Pro for as long as I can remember. You can even do trace installs where it will document everything when you install a VST and run it for the first time. This will remove not only disk locations but registry entries as well so it's highly recommended. If you choose not to go that route then there are good suggestions in this thread and I would only add to run a search of the plug-in name to bring up all locations where this information might be stored that you could've missed. However, why make it harder on yourself, just get Revo and put that extra time into something better than hunting for files on a hard disk.
