The problem with Relab has been solved on the sister site by the lovely nbow: there's a file missing from System32/libiomp5md.dll. Or you can dl the redist from topic. Seems to work fine now. I think the issue w/ TiCO has been fixed in the latest update (dev bug?)

had the same problem with the AudioUtopia version back then. Not with this one.

 

The xils polym also has a problem with no sound on start up, though changing presets a bunch of times does make it work. Unfortunately it only lasts for a session, and reverts to no sound when restarting the daw.

Don't matter to me, I just went back to their older version, but just reporting for the record.

 

You forget one thing: fire up regedit and clean the registry keys at HKLM>Software and HKCM>Software, and check the wow64 key in both also. Then the cleanup is complete.

I just tried, no probs with Win7 and Reaper.

 

Pro tools 12.5 crashes while loading Lexicon on start up....any fix?

 

Installed ReLab LX480 3.1.0 on Windows 10 20H2. Pro Tools 12.5 crashes on startup & Reaper 6.19 did not load the plugin at all. See below.

Judging by all the reports, it seems they all work best with Windows 7 and Reaper combination. I feel happy that it's the combination I use for music production, but I also feel sorry for people who use something else, of course.

It makes me wonder why is that the case? Although, in my experience, some plugins simply work differently with different OSes and DAWs, and I mean even the original, uncracked ones, paid for plugins. Making a plugin that works properly with multiple OSes: 3 versions of Windows, 4-5 versions of MacOS, not to mention different distributions of Linux with different desktops, is not an easy task.

Read the INFO: "PLATFORM : WiN64 - VST/VST3/AAX(MODiFiED)" This release no work either with legit or old cracked Pro Tools. You need (hopefully) wait for a strong scene release of Pro Tools.

 

your statement is only partially correct
u are right that this version does not work with legit PT versions due to the fact that the aax is modified....
but old versions that support aax work, so for me it works with version 12.5

Having issues in Pro Tools 12 as well. Using a real session or a new one.
None Softube works well. While the session is open they work. When I try to close it, Pro Tools crashes. I just removed them all and then PT is working fine again. No crashes.
Same issue with others releases too...Stratum, Lexicon (said above), UVI Spark and TiCO. The last two have been fixed already.
I am sure they will fix them soon...They always do that. We just need to wait.
Posting here just to let them know about the issues.

 

In my opinion, R2R's hard work on the AAX has been something wonderful. Their releases are in my opinion perfect, unfortunately it is the Pro Tools version which is 5 years old, and struggles to support all these new DSPs. R2R just made a masterpiece with these releases, and personally everything works great.

 

i disagree, yeah lexicon does not work...but softube works for me. i can save and close pro tools with no crashes or whatsoever...
But it is worth mentioning that I have not tested everything (i tested Weiss DS1 MK3 and FET Compressor)

i suspect that your pro tools is a bit bitchy. i also had such a problem once. after a fresh windows and protools installation everything worked again. yes a lot of work

yeah it is an old release...but due to the fact that i never used a newer pro tools version, I cannot evaluate that. Maybe the latest version has even worse bugs, who knows....?
