I'm not familiar with Adguard, but I wouldn't rely on Brave browser. I'd definitely move over to uBlock Origin. Although it seems a lot more complicated than many ad blockers, the default settings work really well out of the box. That said, I've definitely visited sites that have attempted to infect me as well, but generally a reboot of the browser has been enough to clear it.

I used to also run NoScript, but these days I'm pretty sure uBlock takes care of preventing the problems it addresses. But NoScript should also sanitize the kind of infectious pages people like us will visit from time to time.

This has happened to me once. Not from anything audio-related though, so not from AZ. The hacker found a way to install TeamViewer and accessed the PC while I was away, then went on to check my (thankfully empty) PayPal and such using passwords saved in the browser. Then my computer froze, I think because of AV, and I came back to a very terrifying freeze frame so I was aware of what had happened.

Check your browser history to see if they accessed any financial sites. Then reinstall windows (or Linux in your case) and change all of your saved passwords.

AV can foresee that the Keygen is going to modify exe and or read / modify info in register, that's why they detect them as malicious software.

I first began with Ubuntu 10.04 and currently using linux mint XFCE because it is lighter on CPU.
My music machine is a mac so none of my computer is running Windows (except wine on Linux of course)
I run linux for 10 years and you don(t need to be an expert to do this.
I sometimes copy/paste depot repositeries links with the terminal but I have no clue how to check incoming connections from internet.
I checked your link with says not to run Wine as root, I don't even know that. I click on the keygen and it opens, don't know if it is with root permission or not ?
I suppose that if I don't enter sudo on the terminal in prder to open a soft with wine, it should not run as root ?

sudo is telling your computer 'superuser do' so anything you do via sudo will give the task root powers.
