Ive installed the sister site version of this plugin and whenever I try to use it and mouse off the window it freezes my entire daw with no reason apparently, looks like its open gl problem idk

 

Just tried, same thing with me in FL. Not peaking on performance monitor in FL Studio either. Hopefully a fix will appear.

 

Yes, it seems like a FL Wrapper Problem, try it in Bridged Mode with External Window. This problem appears only in FL till now.

Do me a favor and change your title to include the DAW, as the issue is specific to FL Studio. Something like SSL Native Plugins (k'd) Problem In FL Studio. It'll help the next person see at a glance if the information in the thread is likely to solve the specific issue they may be having with the plug-ins.

Which version of FL Studio are you using? That would be useful, too.

 

As the OP, you have the ability to mark an answer as the best answer, you can see the option underneath every comment to the left of +Quote. It's a good habit to get into using it because when someone is browsing the thread, they can quickly see the most important comment without having to read all of them. I recommend marking Jeffrey Goinz's comment with the inserted image as the best answer. I believe that also marks the thread as Solved and in that case Oly won't even have to do it.

I actually have the same problem with de Eq as soon as I want to change the frequency it gets stuck or freezes

 

Just mark make bridged and it will work fine

 

@Olymoon Could you change the tittle to something more explanatory? Like, I think I made a mistake saying "k'd" because idk if the original version works fine, also I think the tittle I did was very poor and my english is so bad for figuring out a better tittle, thanks in advance

Yeah, FL Studio is really good at making 3rd party VST GUIs go buggy, I have this problem with almost all Izotope plugins too, they don't crash the sound like SSL EQ2 but they go in slow motion and that's extremely annoying...

Thanks for this suggestion, never tried it before, it really solves the SSL EQ2 problem, gonna try this on the izotope plugins too, who knows...

PS. If you don't want to make it bridged every time you open the SSL EQ2 just make it bridged once and add the plugin to database (Note that if you already have made a change to the eq curve it will aways open with that eq curve, so make sure to add to database with the empty "preset"). Now it aways will open bridged and working like a charm.

 

Works without a problem here, not sure what i have special...
