    Hey guys,

    Well, today something weird happened.

One of my S1 songs is crashing when I try to open it.

All my other songs open just fine.

Any tips on how to troubleshoot this issue?

This is a fairly complex song and I've invested many hours in it...

    Thank you in advance,

    M.

When this happens to me it's usually 2 things. Either of a sample with different sample rate than the one of the project or a plugin is crashing. First one is easy, find which file has the different sample rate and change it in an external program, save with the same name and you're good to go, maybe you will have some timing issues on the project with the specific sample though. But better than crashing. The second one, you can see which plugin in crashing through a log file that is generated on loading a track, i cannot remember the name of it though, but i found that the name of the problematic plugin is on the last line. Hope it helps.

I think a plugin (effect or synth) what your song uses causes a conflict, use one of your history, if it doesn't work then load an empty song and import individual song elements from your songs was crashed in the empty song and see when it crashes, your know which plugin is the problem.

It happens to me sometimes too.
Deleting the cache folder (inside the song folder) usually fixes it.

    Hey guys,

    Thanks for all replies.

Turns out it was a VST3. I've disabled a bunch of services, one by one, in the advanced properties tab, and that was it.

The only VST3 I was using is Melodyne, so I guess it is the culprit.

Cheers and happy new year to all,

    M.
