The sister site has been really busy for the last 24 hours or so of obvious reasons.

The 7 days between christmas night and today we had a lot of begging, frustrations, insults etc towards the guys who actually provided the feast for us ..... not for Mac´sters, but that´s another story.

I dont know how you deal with this feast:
1: Free to use in general?
2: Free for a propper test?
Im indeed no saint - far from  but support devs when you can

Happy new year from here

We have members who are going 100% legit and make use of try-before-buy versions. So I'd say, if your moral standards are not sky-high, the answer is yes.

Depends on moral standards and money. And don't forget that some members just don't have the option to pay online, even if they wanted to.

But we all should support the developers of our choice as best as we can, because if we don't, that was the last wave.

I actually own legit versions of most of the things that R2R released and that also have my interest but i replaced them all with R2R cracks simply because its a more "clean" version without ilok, the slate VMR loads much faster with R2R version compared to my legit version... which feels very unfortunate as a paying customer..

In the end i will end up buying the plugins i do not own and that i like from this big wave, simply because i want to support the companies, but gahdamn its hard to make the move and buy legit versions when they are less efficient and use terrible security methods...

Also i prefer MacOS for anything audio related so in the end when i might switch back to mac in the future i will have to buy anything iLok, unless a literal miracle will happen for mac users which im very sceptic about at this point

I must add that I tried on Audio Z, Studio One pro, Ana2, Spire and Maschine software. I later bought all of them and are now legit. But I still look to AZ for anything new to try, and welcome anything from R2R, so a massive thank you for letting me try b4 buying, but I certainly wouldn't have bought them without R2R and AZ, Happy New year to all and Thanks once again.

I totally agree on supporting the devs. Especially those who offer a quality product at a reasonable price and are responsive to their customers. It always puts a smile on my face when I see Avid products show up on the sister site however, as they are the most arrogant devs on the planet.
