Are there any particular uses you'd recommend this for?

 

it is a channel strip. You can use it in whatever you prefer, although I think the eq of the original hardware is very musical and has excellent results on vocals.

If you have purchased Focusrite hardware, check your Focusrite account and you may have it waiting in your list of software for free. I got it for free for hardware I bought 4 years ago! They don't notify anyone about it being theirs for free though.

 

how it compares to the consoles of the brainworx cracked bundle?

 

Does it also work along side the cracked bundle?
Or is it one of those ones where they find out you have the cracked bundle so cancel your account etc?

 

That is correct. I got it for free because I had my Focusrite ISA One preamp registered. This plugin is just awesome and it convinced me to buy PA Mix & Master yearly subscription
