patcher .. insanely sick! and edison too and .. most of FL plugins are really unique
Directwave can clone any VSTi sound .. most of the sampler can do, but it is very easy to do in Directwave

Harmor, So many options

 

I have always loved using "Layer" to load MIDI...
It lets me easily switch between (or actually layer) different instruments by just muting / soloing.
I've used it a LOT for comparing VSTi, mostly acoustics and especially pianos.
I found it easier than loading a loading Kontakt with 4 and muting / soloing soloing from there.

I need to learn how to use "Patcher" as @odod mentioned.
I am not sure it is as "up front" for switching but there were a couple of other reasons i told myself i need to learn to use it.

Patcher is an extremely powerful tool, you can make serial and parallel chains, very useful for sound designing. I always loved Flangus, it adds a really rich thick stereo sounds and. I dont know, transient processor is not as clean as it should. Although is not fl native, you may like Transient Shaper from kilohertz with almost zero CPU load

never ever used patcher i can i know how to but never used it plus it dosent suit my workflow (ive always stuck to useing the faders etc never touch the knobs would be nice if there an option to remove the knobs entierly) so for me since ive always used it and had releases on countless labels and still use it to this day... maximus. (just a great all round mb )

When you say "...remove the knobs entirely..." are you talking about the knobs in the Channel Rack?
I see lots of wasted space in the Channel Rack, and other places, too... and was just thinking it would be nice if that was fixed

Parametric EQ 2 and Reverb 2 for me. Very straightforward plugins that do a good job at what they're supposed to do.

 

Ohh my favorite is Harmor and Fruity Parametric EQ 2

 

oh has to be up there to espically in later editions of fruity... directwave for thesimple fact it now has quickbounce to directwave love that feature especially when layering multiple leads etc route them process them bounce to directwave and then you have that for use again in another track already multi layerd multinoted.
