    Welcome to the Official page for the AudioSexed Album!!!


    Recently, our awesome member carl had a brilliant idea for making an album that involved the AudioSEX community :) We decided to call this album "AudioSexed", and everyone that is part of the AudioSexed forum is welcome to join in and create ONE track for the album.

    We are very excited about this fantastic project that will put all participating members in a fantastic position and will give everyone a chance to show their production skills and styles. When the album is complete by the set deadline, it will be released on AudioZ for everyone outside and inside the community to download for FREE. :break:

    The goal of this album is to strengthen the AudioSEX community and make us an active, fun group of people that work together to help improve our abilities in producing good music. It will also enable us to express our passion for the art of sound and make us all stronger and more independent artists who don't have to rely on boastful promotions and lousy demands and controls by both large and small labels. We are making this album for us, to give to the world to listen to. Together, as a community, we can make a very big statement by releasing an album to the world that reflects music that is honest, truthful and expresses real passion for the art.


    EVERYONE PART OF THE COMMUNITY WHO IS AN AUDIOSEX MEMBER (not a newbie) CAN JOIN IN, BUT BEFORE YOU DO, PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THESE GUIDLINES AND RULES:

    1. Create ONE NEW ORIGINAL(no remixes/mashups) track of ANY GENRE and ANY LENGTH and post it in the 'our music' forum by creating a new thread.

    2. All tracks should be in 24 bit .wav files. This is as so to keep Audio Quality as high as possible. Once the album is in
    compilation stage, it will be dithered to 16 bit mp3 as to lower file size while still maintaining quality standards :)

    3. Your thread title should be named as such: 'Name - Track Name(AudioSexedAlbum)'. PLEASE ABIDE BY THIS STANDARD.

    4. Your track will be nicely reviewed by members who will recommend improvements and give you the go ahead.

    5. Reviews should not be biased based on taste and more about production quality, writing, engineering standards etc.

    6. Once your track has been reviewed by members as well as regular members and your track has been given the go ahead, I will
    send you a PM with a link where you can upload your sound so I can compile it for the album.

    7. All tracks should be submitted by January 31 2014 from NOW. THIS IS THE DEADLINE AND NO TRACKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS! This is so everyone has enough time to make an EXCELLENT track for the album. Alot of us work and need time to make something, so we don't want to alienate people who have tough scheduals.

    8. Once the deadline has been reached, the compilation stage will go into process. Compiled by me. I will download all the tracks from the private link I've sent to the artists that made it and compile the album in a fitting way. DO NOT WORRY IF THERE IS TOO MANY OR TOO LITTLE TRACKS. Leave that to the control freak compiler that is I :bleh:

    I will fit every track in a way that works best in the album, I will do the dithering as well. If there is too much to go on the album, I will split them up in organised volumes. All the proper naming will be taken care of and there will be an album description to go along with it as well.

    9. While I am compiling the album, a new design thread will be up in the 'our music' forums. All designers interested should post in their album art designs. Voting shall commence on the best design.

    10. Once the album cover design has been made, I shall include it within the album and send it off to SAiNT and the album shall finally be released to the world for FREE DOWNLOAD on AudioZ :)

    If you guys have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask below and I shall happily answer them. If I've left out anything important, please let me know and I shall include it in the guidline. If there is anything you are not happy with, please let me know and we shall bring everything to an Ultimatum :)

    REMEMBER, this is a COMMUNITY ALBUM not an ARTIST ALBUM. There is no specific genre, no specific consistency, it is just an album that is free, fun and represents OUR COMMUNITY. No track is better than the other regardless of skill, engineering or writing. The whole entire album is averaged out to best represent everyone as a whole. That doesn't mean however, you do a shitty job with your track. Make the best track you possibly can and it will more likely receive better reviews and feedback, therefore encouraging everyone to listen to what you did for the album. :dancing:

    You can totally collaborate, just make sure it's one track :)

    You can do whatever you wan't with your track, have a vocalist, rapper, record a rock band...whatever :)

    My Notebook was broken for like 3 or 4 days, and there happend so much on AudioSex :wow:

    Great Project idea :wink:

    I totally agree with the no remixes/mashups, but what about people share there stems later on our sample dropbox, so others also can remix ist? We could set the stems under Attribution, or if we feel better under Attribution Noncommercial. So people out there can remix it, or sample it.
