I just thought id ask, I used to have this amazing copy of zebra with thousands of presets on install, now I can only find a dark zebra with the howard scarr (i think) presets, if anyone has the copy with all the presets built in could you please msg me?

 

say what you will about u-he not having sales, but they say it's so that people who paid full price don't feel cheated, and generally they make good on that by extending some sort of olive branch to people who own whatever went on sale. A coupon or discount on something else. Except this time, unfortunately. Literally every u-he plugin I own is featured in this sale, and none that I don't.

... It appears that you do indeed buy them through NI's site, but then you register the products individually? with U-He themselves.

So that likely answers most of my questions. Anyone buying them through this method would probably be treated the same as any other U-He customer who bought from U-He directly, which is good!]


Quick query...

Would U-He penalise or disqualify anyone who purchased this bundle offer through Native Instruments with regard to future 'upgrade discounts?'

For example, if U-He were to release a new 'Diva 2' and offered discounts to 'Diva 1' owners. Does anyone think those same discounts would not be available to those customers who bought this bundle via this offer?

Also, when we register these bundled products, is it going to be with U-He themselves (i.e. create a user account on their U-He website and register/activate the plugins the same as customers who bought from U-He direct?

I'm essentially asking what is Native Instrument's role/capacity in this offer, other than them being a U-He affiliate via the .nks support.

As in, I don't want to be a Native Instruments customer, but I'd rather deal directly with U-He (post purchase) and never have to use NI's services in the future.

Any ideas, guys?

You just get a normal u-he serial and get treated the same way as every user. I have also found u-he to be more than fair in any dealings with its customers. You don't win Dev of the Year (KVR) two years in a row for having shit customer servivce.
