Waves & CLA have been on a non-stop sales campaign trying to convince everyone that Epic is unique and, that it would be difficult to reproduce using your DAW sends & busses.

If you take a look at the signal flow, it really isn't that difficult. When this was presented by Warren Huart, I immediately thought - maybe I can save myself the time of setting up custom track template.



Only thing left is to download the demo & try. Hoping CPU load is light.

This video demonstrates how easy it is to setup custom effects routing inside your DAW using either stock plugins, 3rd party or, a combination of both. I have done something similar in Reaper which offers more routing & automation options than Logic.

Using screensets and/or folders, you can easily keep sessions organized.

Once you have the effects layout & routing set, simply save as a template (or track template set in Reaper).
