Yeah, I noticed that with Rockfile. I thought it was my ad-blocker or no-script [as they say to disable ad-blocker for greater speed], but nothing helped to bring it back to 600KB/s

I think a problem with Mega is that they take down the links too easily. Otherwise I love it.

My entire existent for music software (warez) has been a simple two step process.

    1. Find what I like on AudioZ, then leave a comment and a like.
    2. Upload the link for safe keeping on Oboom.com (I had sub folders that are like 80 gigs) and my Oboom itself totals over 450 gb of links.

Now I am nothing but a figment of my imagination.

thank you for the heads up. i had some files there that i wanted to download before they shut down. not sure if they plan to completely shut down, but just in case. this really is too bad because it was my go-to place when i was in-between subscriptions on real-debrid.

Mega sometimes goes on a mission deleting files and closing accounts, however, I never had a problem. Biggest problem is that some uploaders do not encrypt file names when they zip them and/or do not replace the original name so they are found.

i do have mega account (capacity 15 GB) and im using it fairly to send stuff to my friends
@The Pirate you are correct my friend ,it always better to not give any hint about the stuff you are sending
lets say you wanna send movie titled godzilla 2014 bluray 1080p Remux DTS - FGT ,
you can shortcut all that into gz14bl1080.mkv and
send it with text file with complete file name ,
they on the other side just have to download and rename it back from that text file
and after they send me confirmation of file completed i would remove the movie and upload next request

im doing this for years collecting not only musicplugins/softwares but movies and mp3s as well using only that 15 GB limit from mega

The thread started then, but the title and opening comment has just been edited now. Understand?

Obviously you're commenting on the product, yeah?
The rules say not to comment "Thanks", but to comment on the actual product.

Rockfile was decent until they switched to 50 kb/s for some utterly baffling reason. Who the hell does that these days? It's complete garbage now.

That was exactly what I used to do. Oboom was my safety net in case links on AZ were deleted or removed before I had a chance to download. Now this poses a dilemma to finding a suitable replacement that offers free remote uploading for uploaded.net files, especially ones 400 MB or larger...

Zippyshare seems to be allergic to VPNs.

With 3 major VPN providers (Zippy hates them all). Always seems to return a '403 Forbidden' page.

TOR seems to work with Zippy, though. Zippy like TOR.

What would it take to make AZ a free service site like some others out there? I'd rather pay a small fee to AZ than UL. There are several services used by at least some mac share sites that work flawlessly for free without any delay or d/l limits. Also, Horseman's audio site works well for that too. How can that work over at AZ and keep them alive and well at the same time?

There really is something very smart about what you said, it just still haven't sinked in completely, yet.

Are there any other sites that allow a remote upload like Oboom? I have been absolutely relying on that feature. It has been an awesome workaround if you don't have a premium account elsewhere. So saddened by this.

@grdh20 If you refer to the Horsemen site as AF, there they use MEGA, Dropvox, Drive (Google), Onedrive, etc ... And the loads are not the same as in AZ (only 25% -30% of what is published in AZ it appears in AF), here (in AZ) many "clouds" would be needed

But nothing happens because OBOOM has crashed, they still have Audionews, which as you already know is a torrent site (and there you do have 95% -100% of what is published in AZ).
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you also have to sow to be able to download.
I have a laptop from 2004 that I don't use at all, (just for that, because it wouldn't be of use to me for anything else jajaja ) seeding torrents 24/7
