LeechPremium does allow 2 links per 10 minutes, but the catch is - you lose at least 10 minutes to get 1 link, and as you said sometimes it doesn't work. When it doesn't work you want to bite your arm off. :snuffy: Interestingly, when I generate the same link again, it works. Dodgy site. But as I said, when you REALLY need something... it's definitely quicker than RG and UL.

Unless you have a spare Raspberry PI with a HD and VNC installed, or a mini LCD... those things are really cheap, completely quiet, and so useful. Despite having 4 computers [1 is NAS], I'd still like something low power to have it turned on all the time. Just for downloading stuff, so I can make music in peace.

This happened to me too from time to time, right now it shows my stuff.

Very sad..:-( I'm hoping contributors will add hosts like zippy or mega more often :beg:

They usually have zippy links on releases where mirrors are allowed, but when they are not allowed it's still mostly UL and RG :/

Now OBOOM is gone, AudioZ = a permium only UL&RG downloads service, unless its something worthless like an old Van Halen Ebook then there will be a zippyshare mirror:like:

Nothing screams "R2R is against business warez!" like premium only OR 2 links a day at 50kb/s

I think contributors do deserve some kind of compensation for their effort, but at the same time we should find a better solution for everybody to be able to download multiple files on hourly basis, at some decent speed. I would be quite satisfied with ~500KB/s or more, but 50-100KB/s screams 2001 or so.

I wonder is it really that hard to make it a rule to provide some other file hoster that allows multiple downloads per hour at decent speeds? Especially now when Uploaded is banning the same contributors that supported them for so long.

Uploaded links gong missing so fast too often. We have a big problem at our hands, don't we Saint?

This sucks. Getting big sample libraries is out of the question for me now, unless they change to better file hosting for free users.

Been using Alldebrid for the last 18 months only 15.99€ for 180 days - cheaper and more expensive options available as well, no offline problems and great downloading speed although my own isp is a problem sometimes.

I often use Deepbrid. The free version allows only 1 download every 15 minutes and a max (I think) of 4 GB a day but for most libraries of less than 10GB usually you get it all downloaded within a couple of days. For something bigger that you really really must have you can buy a 1 month premium for 5euros. Worth keeping in mind.
Edit: I've just checked.. AllDebrid is indeed cheaper :)

On small files Zippy is a good option. However, when it comes to big uploads it is not such a good idea due to Zippy's 30 days deletion policy and 500MB per file limit. You spend too much time uploading and may end up having them deleted unless you download each one every 29 days.

Man, did I pick a good time to go legit.

I recently purchased the last of my remaining plugins that I regular use. So now, I outright own my DAW and all the plugins I use in my workflow.

I still browse the sister site to check out what's happening. But happily, I am now 100% legit with zero warez.

I also deleted everything from my Oboom account about a week or so ago. So this timing could not have been more synchronistic.

I was actually thinking while deleting everything from Oboom... "Just how, are they making any money from giving me all this free storage. It doesn't add up." ... and then this happens.

Sucks for anyone who still requires the use of their services though. I can empathise with your pain. :mates:

I have seen quite a few mega links recently, is that something that will be more common now or does it also have any drawbacks?

I'm wondering for how long these debrid sites will work for UL links because it seems UL is stepping up to block all the sites that they think heart their business. And they are just too wrong because it will kill their business from now on.

This is disappointing news.... And there doesn't seem to be many alternatives to Oboom outside of questionable premium link generators with small file size limits... Even with rockfile, it went from speeds of 600 KB/s for free account downloads to a paltry 50 KB/s these days....
