i really thought about selling/trading two moog mothers and a dfam. (but once i sold an acoustic guitar and i regret it to this day. and then i said to myself do not give away an instrument ever. again.)
but its also a bad thing if instruments are just laying around and others would actually do something with it...
i think yeah one day i make something with it. maybe.... blah. and it just collects dust.

    aaaaaargh  idk

sry, i didnt figure earlier that there was an answer.

if you want to pitch a signal up by reading it faster, you would need to look in the future.

with analog signals this is not possible - ITB that is possible because of the principle of latency compensation (everything you hear in a DAW is already delayed on 2 levels, you just dont notice it because it is read earlier than required.)

you know how you do FM with oscillators: by modulating either their phase or their frequency.

now how would you do that with an oscillator which doesnt have a frequency input - or any other signal which is already there? that works only by delaying it, like in chorus effect.

so you bought the mf107 freqbox.....congrats its a great device, it has some limitations, quite honestly it never sounds that good with the sync on, its very temperature sensitive and drifts out of tune...alot, its greatest strength is in using it as an oscilator...sounds masive, try tweaking the osc wave shape as it plays for some seriously face melting psuedo pwm type madness . Its possibly the best drone machine ever. You're absolutely crazy buying one these days though, the prices moogerfoogers sell for since they became discontinued is one of the most revolting examples of boutique hipster profiteering ive ever seen. It really is a great device though
