Besides all the nice free presets, I recommend this tool:
Double Killer

It's quite old (from 2007) but very handy and just works, using it since years.
Just add your vital presets folder and select size & CRC32 checksums.

You won't believe how much identical presets you have in your folders. Especially in the discord presets folders.
Saved me about 300MB in space.

It's also very useful when you get a new preset pack from somewhere (for example updated discord presets).
In such case, just add your vital folder and that new folder to the options and scan.

You're also able to delete identical files from the folders inside DoubleKiller

Looks like fun but where are the presets?? ;).

 

Sorry this was ment to make your own presets from existing presets with one click. Maybe I can make some using this device.

 

For Presets a fine solution!

But with dupes of content the problem is if we delete some dupes the presets with an absolute path in it can't find the file like a special wavetable or sample, etc.

So if i load MyPreset.fxp (or in a VST plugin with proprietary presets management) it can't find the content of the preset anymore.


ps: how did you get old apps in a dark mode view?

It's no dark view mode, it's just a dark windows theme, which makes everything dark, not just window frames.

Just "signed" a preset.

Another experimental Preset from me: Singing Birds.Vital

The "Birds" are resonances of my modified r4e wavetable using Filter 1 & 2.
By editing the LFO's, you can add more Bird sounds.

Here are 5 Vital presets using one Oscilator only: 2 Pads, 2 plucks and one experimental sequence.
All use velocity, so try it. You may have to adjust that to your keyboard's sensibility though.

Serum has a feature to convert png images to wavetables. So I made a png image with black background and white text,
converted it into a wavetable in Serum and used that table in Vital. The 3D effect comes from the intensity of the pixel luminance.

Means white is on top, Black on the bottom. When you add grey, it's somehwere between. That way you also can control
the height of the letters in the 3D view of the table.

Here's an example of some simple gradients in photoshop:
