I'm really struggling to find an app or browser plugin for the Mac that intercepts embedded web content.
After installing IDM (Windows), a "Download This Video" button pops up whenever you are watching a video anywhere in cyberspace. You simply click on the button to start downloading clips.
The site grabber feature of Internet Download Manager not only lets you download required files that are specified with filters, for example all pictures from a web site, or all audio files from a web site, but it also lets you download subsets of web sites, or complete web sites for mirroring or offline browsing.

Is there any similar app for the Mac, specifically for late operating systems like Mojave? Thanks in advance.
