Ive got the R2R version of Rhythmiq v1.0.7 from the sister site installed. Before that I had the earlier versions installed. The activation window shows up on startup and can be successfully done. But on the next startup it will ask again for activation.

I tried to uninstall and install again, no help. I tried installing old versions and I have the same behavior in the old versions too. I tried cleaning my harddrive and registry after uninstalling, but I must have missed something. Nothing helps.

Any help on that?

I'm using Windows 10 and Reason 11 Suite as a DAW.

 

Idk about Rhythmiq but my Beatformer needs the "response" file every time I launch it. I guess this happens because I haven't blocked the connection to "wyday.com" properly..
It might be the same for you.

I have no clue mate, there are many videos on how to do that but I struggle to understand. Let me know if you find the way..

So I found out that if I disable my network connection, everything works. No activation on startup then. I guess I just have to find out, what exactly I have to block

 

Yeah, I made it. It seems I had some invisible characters in my hosts file, which kept it from working. Adding these two lines to the hosts file made ist work

127.0.0.1 wyday.com
127.0.0.1 www.wyday.com​

 

Can you let me know how you go about blocking it?

and dont forget to add the site in 2 lines
127.0.0.1 wyday.com
127.0.0.1 www.wyday.com
