Does Blue Cat Axiom amp sim software have an "acoustic" amp preset?

Greetings. I am considering using Blue Cat Axiom as I make the transition from real amps to the digital domain. I understand that the software will be just fine for my electric guitars. BUT I also play two acoustics guitars with K&K pickups that I run through a K&K preamp and then into my Fishman Loudbox acoustic amp which sounds great.

With my acoustic guitars, will Blue Cat Axiom have a preset for an "acoustic" type amp that will simulate my current set up and sound like a realistic clean acoustic guitar sound?

I cannot seem to find this information anywhere on the net. Acoustic instruments never seem to be mentioned with amp sim software or using the computer as a practice device for an acoustic guitar "plugged in".

Thanks for any advice before I make the plunge into the digital computer guitar rig world!

I don't know if Axiom has any acoustic amp types, but isn't acoustic amps really just FRFR style combos that are supposed to amplify the signal as cleanly as possible? I have never had to use any type of amp sim for acoustic guitar but I know that there are some presets in Neural DSP Archetype Cory Wong and Archetype Plini that are supposed to be for "acoustic". If that means making electric guitars sound acoustic or if they are for acoustic guitars I'm not sure about!

Edit: Just checked Overloud TH-U if it has acoustic presets and it does! The presets doesn't have any amp in the chain though only EQ, comp, effects etc. so I don't think you really need any amp sim for the acoustic guitars. Play around with some channel strip presets and various effects and you should be able to get a nice tone! I'm sure there are a ton of videos on youtube and websites that has good tips on how to get a good sound from a DI acoustic track!

The same Blue Cat has a plugin called ReGuitar which comes with various presets for acoustic guitars that sound very decent. You can use it along with Axiom clean patches with good results. You can "try before you buy" at the sister site.

Generally speaking acoustic guitars are NOT recorded through any kind of amp. They are either miked or if the onboard microphone is used, they are simply recorded directly an treated later if needed.

This, of course, has nothing to do with the question. I don't know, maybe. IRL I've played acoustic guitar through bass amps. You could try those.

Now, back to the stuff that doesn't directly have anything to do with answering your question. I've only demoed the Axiom briefly. It is very deep when it comes to customization. And it comes with all kinds of effects. What I would say is: there are no rules when it comes to this kind of thing. Generally speaking you don't need a modeled "acoustic guitar amp" unless you are going for a very specific sound. Otherwise you can start by just playing with an EQ and a compressor. Maybe add little chorus and reverb. The Axiom has all those effects and a ton more. That's _all_ most people do when it comes to acoustic guitars. If you want to go further, with the Axiom you can essentially design your own amp. And you can use whatever impulse response files you find on the internet. With the necessary equipment and little research you could even make your own impulse response of your ac. combo.

Also like user rudolph said, the BlueCat ReGuitar is really interesting.
