They have a special now for $7,495 -pedal pusher included-. That’s more or less the price to transform a regular piano into a mechanical player one (but this is portable). The price seems ok to me

Even $7,500 is savagely steep for what this is. For that price, I'm more than happy with my Kontakt pianos.
    Hell, for the original asking price, I'd get a low-end upright....or, more likely a Mark I. :)

i played with the similar far more expensive Yamaha Disklavier and it's honnestly surprising. But it only work if you perform the piece of music on the very same piano you'll record. whenever i transfered a piece from my midi (heavyweight) keyboard for exemple, the performance was totally falsified. you can tweak to a certain point. but, at the end, it never really work. It's pretty cool for correcting few bugs here and there, eventually re-recording the piece later with beter mic placement, keeping a backup of an incredible performance, but again, as you'll play differently on any piano, a portable version don't make much sens. I'm a keyboard player, i have two piano at home, and one Yamaha disklavier at disposal whenever i need, in 99% of the time i'm using kontakt piano. from fazioli grand to alicia keys and the 40 other in between..
