The very nice folks at Eset have told me that my Win 7 32bit OS is out the window.

Interesting thread Sylenth, thank you!. When I followed your helpful instructions and after attempting to install KB 4474419, I got a very fast boot bluescreen on my Win 7 PC. After screwing around re the bluescreen the net gave this info:
"pssnap.sys - Page fault in nonpaged area"

This crash is caused by a conflict between the KB and pssnap.sys which is a component of Macrium Reflect v5. When I removed pssnap.sys I was able to boot to a desktop that crashed my file manager (Powerdesk) and Explorer. So I couldn't get into anything including Safe Mode.

Fortunately I make regular backups and when up and running again, uninstalled Macrium and pssnap and all registry references. But at least I now have a working backup and 1 day down the toilet. I haven't yet had the courage to try installing KB4474419 again :)

Man, I'm really sorry that didn't work for you. Everything I put in my instructions I previously did on my pc and it worked perfectly. hmmmm (I don't have macrium though)
