About time you clean your ears and pull your systems up again.

I made a small part, exported the audio and added preamps to the separate tracks and the master out.
    • without preamps for reference
    • Acustica Audio Amethyst, Honey and Magenta with individual Input adjustment
    • AA Camel Lin 1 Input +6
    • AA Camel Lin 1 with individual Input according to the source level (roughly)
    • AA Camel Lin 3-15 with the same individual Input
    • AA Sand Line, Bus and Custom, mono for mono sources, stereo for stereo sources, unity gain (=no adjustments)
    • PA plugin with different TMT groups and the same saturation and Input for all
Of course this is not the order of the tracks.

The question is, what do you hear and think of the results? Do you even recognize the untreated file?

    Good luck and have fun.

H: Kazrog True Iron through Fuse Audio Labs Flywheel with a small touch of Fielding DSP Reviver and Inflator.
X: Oversampled 128-bit quadraple precision 0.01dB Gain/MakeUp boosting, offline render, of course.
Y: Backward Anti-Saturator (working in a way to remove any saturation).
Z: Diode Bridge Comp emulation with x1024 oversampling through basic stock Hard Clipper (without oversampling).
    ZZ: "ZZ Top" mastering-style sound.
ZZZ: Behringer 80 bucks mixer thru gold-plated cables and Neutrik connects. Don't know about ADC/DAC. Did you use external jitter clock?
ZZZZ: re-recorded by using pair of Neumanns TLM-103 from your speakers, stock Neumann cables, and the cheapest tube-preamp. Distance (from mic to speaker): 19.3 cm from the left speaker, 19.5 cm from the right speaker. Good acoustic treatment there! No foam.

D : high end balanced, bottom is tight
G : high end balanced, bottom is broader
    My two favs
Probably Acustica Audio Amethyst, Honey Magenta AND Sandline

I don't like others at all : too RAW, aggressive transients

    F untreated

I will see if i lost my ears

Do you try to lower input gains to adjust these kinds of things? I think that might help.

It's not possible to distinguish these because line levels are subtle and vary by actual channels from the consoles (everything including Plugin Alliance). They are designed to be used individually on separate channels in order to sum like the console.

I'm not sure if he's talking about the pluggies themselves or my audio files.

Kung are you ok? [IMG] Was my phrasing bad? What do you think I have done?
Means, channels, aka sounds. I do have a vague idea of what summing means. :winker:
