Yeah.. Tried with BF-76 (Pro Tools built-in compressor). Same problem..

 

I know that one, I've used it a few times before how I knew how to set up a real/actual side-chain in FL, as opposed to volume automation which kickstart does.

 

So, delay compensation isn't working properly in Pro Tools. Here is, how I managed to make compensation work right with different ammount of plugins that cause delay. But it needs manual parsing the logical structure of the project routing, which is terrible for working process..

 

I never used the cracked protools that much, I uninstalled it after playing around with it some minutes. I cant even stand that ancient blue window syles

Logic X do not need to get cracked , it has no copy protection.

 

Another way around this:

Ignore sidechaining completly.

Untill

"the end"

meaning when you are "done"
your doing the finale mixdown from audio files.

THEN start doing the finale details such as sidechaining

 

i need windows one. not the pro tools. the one that looks damn fine. is it available for win bro?

 

If you're talking about Logic Pro X, then no. Logic Pro X is exclusive to the Mac platform only.

 

I've talked with Avid and they're aware of this issue. The issue is essentially a shortcoming of the software itself. Automatic delay compensations is only available for HDX systems, like someone mentioned previously.

So incredibly stupid imo. Every professional DAW should include this feature without any hesitation.

I've found the best solution for me is to freeze tracks with high latency when I'm satisfied with the sound. Not optimal for workflow of course but it gets the job done.

Doesn't matter, regards PDC. In a daw. With imperfect PDC!
