ok so i think i did a dumb, i tried to copy the presets of dune 2 to the preset folder of dune 3 since they should be compatible in dune 3. so i just copied all the folders and pasted and merged them in the dune 3 preset folder and now when i try to load dune 3 my DAW crashes, tried with FL and live. tried reinstalling, no luck, tried to delete the preset folder and reinstall, no luck, also tried manual, no luck. i think i'm missing a file somewhere that holds the settings but i have no idea where and cant seem to find any info online. this is al happening on a macbook pro with 10.14.6.

help me obiwan kenobi you're my only hope

edit: turns put obiwan wasnt my only hope, turning on hidden files was. always the goddamn hidden files, fuck them!!
