Hello. I cloned my SSD with another larger SSD. I opened my DAW to see if everything was in order but there was a surprise .... Omnisphere asked me for authorization, only him ... there was an error with the challenge code "Error 634A2". Can anyone show me the procedure to restore everything? I had the latest Software update 2.6.3c. I add that I have read many threads about, but none have had this error code
    Thank you.

That's because every disk has a Unique Identifier (UUID) which is different for every drive – even if you clone it.

So, if you use software which uses UUID as part of a registration then you have to re-autheticate this totally legit software of yours again. ;)

Which means if he uses a clone as a back up and then copies back to the original drive all will work again.

I learned that with MacOSX Catalina, the system will only get messed up with some malicious software (asked for password) and once it does Catalina locks the system demanding you re install it again, it wont erase anything but crucial system only files while keeping everything you had including your user system files in a contained drive called (drive name you uses plus DATA), when this happened there first time I was getting errors showing the drive was damages, in fact it was perfectly fine so backed it up everything and re installed the system..voila, everything back including juicy plugs ;)

You don't need to change your thread title to SOLVED because the Solved tag gets added automatically when you select Best Answer underneath the comment that solved your issue. Changing the title to SOLVED like you've done simply makes the thread useless since nobody will ever find it when searching as the name isn't descriptive of the problem contained within. I recommend that you change the title to a descriptive name and then simply select the best answer that resolved your issue.
Huh? The person that you're responding to is referring to the same thing that I described above which is that the title makes this thread useless when searching. I don't know if you're responding to him by accident or if you misunderstood what he said but something is wrong. It's not what you stated, it's the fact that you're saying it as a response to a comment that has to do with something completely different. I suggest you edit your comment and remove the quote because it's confusing.

Just reauthorize repatching is no needed if the files are the same and they are because you cloned the ssd
