Barely more than a reskin as the AFX mode has been available as an update to the Bass Station II for over a year now. It does look good though, I will say.

Also, can't really tell if he's trolling or not (you never really can) but Aphex posting some Covid-denier like content around the onslaught of all this was severely disappointing to me.

 

Yeah its basically a BSII in purple, relabeled to show off and focus on the features that were added in the last firmware update (like the AFX mode I still havent used to this day).

The rest of us with our good old blue ones, have the same shit, we just have to use a cheat sheet to remind us what buttons and keys to push for the new features.
