Hi friends, I just installed Omnisphere software 2.6.3 version and patch library 2.6.3 version and also Keyscape 1.0 version library only.
I imported Omnisphere as plugin in FL Studio and loaded any keyscape soundsource in Omnisphere. Then I imported a PRE-MADE midi file and played it using omnisphere-keyscape plugin, but there was no amy sound coming out. However, it did work well when I type some NEW notes in pianoroll. Only the new notes were hearable. I've tried a lot of solutions but failed everytime. Is it the DAW that's got something wrong? Should I use another DAW like Cubase instead?

Yeah, definitely sounds like user error, especially if it works otherwise. Maybe you're dropping the midi file in the wrong region? Haven't used FLS in a while, but if I recall properly a recent update made some change to midi importing. Also, does it not work with any midi file or just that one? What's your FLS version? Need to tell us a bit more.

 

Thanks. My fl studio version is 20.7.2. I just tried another fl studio project containing 3 tracks, using Omnisphere-Keyscape as plugin for all 3 tracks, and track 2 and 3 were hearable but track 1 was mute. This was the same using Omnisphere's default sound sources. And all tracks are hearable using fl keys or other vst plugins. Here are some screenshots.

ohhokay. Well first, your screenshots aren't visible, and two, check if your wrapper settings are similar, or if there's any edit to the "note properties"(vel, panning etc.) If it works for 2 out of 3, it definitely should work. Finally, are you saying it doesn't work only when you drag in midi or it doesn't work at all sometimes?

That's great! but I AM interested to know how a tutorial on setting up Omnisphere for multi outs helped, if you don't mind elaborating!

 

You need to set an independent channel using Omnisphere plugin, and other channels with midi that you wanna play by Omnisphere shoud use Midi out plugin to input midi into Omnisphere. Then set the connection between Omniphere channel and other channels as the video shows.

 

Ohh okay that's interesting! It should work just fine without having to do that, but I'm glad you found a solution nonetheless!
