I rarely post for anything but I'm stumped with Massive X crashing Logic Pro x 1.5.1 when loading a patch.
Every time no matter what patch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on windows but maybe it will help you anyway, i got crashes with Massive X in every daw i have, as soon as i touch a midi note on keyboard or change preset, it was completely unusable, i found out that adding Massive X.xml file (which was missing in my installation) in Service Center folder solves the problem.
To be precise i really don't know why, some other NI apps doesn't have that file but runs smoothly anyway (Guitar Rig 6 for example).
Btw i don't even know if xml files exists for macos and if file itself is the same as in windows, but i think you have that files too in Service Center folder so you can check and try, it can't go worse than this, a guy sended me that file and now Massive X is perfectly stable, check Service Center folder and see if you have those type of files on mac, if you have it and "Massive X.xml" is missing send me a pm and i'll send the file to you.

I'm glad it works, now we know that the xml file fixes both win and macos crashes problems, didn't know that, still don't know why is not present on any Massive X release but on the first one cracked by R2R it used to work for me even without that fucking file, Guitar Rig 6 also doesn't have that file and works like a charm so it's still a mystery, but again, glad to be helpful sometimes and problem solved, for both of us, enjoy
