I have both of the recent releases of Ample Guitar Metal Eclipse & SC (Stratocaster) from the sister site and the second I click on the FX Tab in either of them they freeze for about a second then DAW just crashes and closes.

I have tried this in both Cubase 10.5 and Studio One 5 and it happens in both, what a joke...

Has this happened to anyone else?

AME v3 working fine here with Win10 Pro x64 v1809 and Studio One v5.0.2 vaccinated. Don't have Cubase. Works fine too in Reaper
No more details when it crashes? Weird screen and stuff...

This happens to me with all of the Ample Sound V.3 plugs in Cakewalk. It came to knowledge that the company doesn't really support the VST3 versions and they suggest that the VST 2.4 versions be used instead. I took their advice and all of the Ample Sound V3.X VST 2.4 instruments work where the VST3 plugs crashed everytime. Hope this helps...

Hey, just joined to contribute to this thread.

I am also having the exact same problem with the latest Ample Sound guitars -All crash when selecting the fx tab inside a daw.
They do work using the AShost, but not in Studio One v4 or the latest v5 versions.
Had to go back to v3.0 which works fine.
Does anyone have any info as to why this would happen? I'd be grateful if there's a fix.

Vst 2, Studio one 5.1, Oprekin ltsc lite

From my experience: trial / error, I simply recommend: VST2 64, (I have noticed that the lastest releases 3.2.X the engine / library loads: runs more fluid). To really enjoy the VST3 Experience, its a time thing; will take months or a few years, but they will make it.

BIG Respect to Beijing Ample Sound Technology.........!!!!

If it wasn't clear from my post, I always install vst2 x64. I don't use vst3 but have tried it in testing this, and same crash on fx tab.

No problems here S1 5.1 win10 all updates. Occasionally I'll get a crash if I'm flicking through presets too fast but for the most part all is good. I just tested clicking through all the tabs etc

It's true that the Ample Sound Host uses the VST2 versions.
