Well my subscription to my VPN provider is about to expire and I'm looking for alternatives to a secure VPN service for someone based in the US. Any recommendations? Thanks!

My ISP has never complained or sent me any threatening letters since I used Nord (over a year ago)

I am happy with windscribe for quite a while, i gave a lucky shot when they started with their lifetime plan and it's worth it.
I have tried like 8 different, all the major, nothing come close IMHO.

I've been using paid Windscribe as well for over 2 years. I also use paid Surfshark which better no borders implementation, but not quite as good by a little bit for everything else.

I can recommend both as fairly priced and functional and also compatible with all the platforms I use *nix/iOS/MacOS/Android/Win_64.

I've had ExpressVPN for a couple months and they seem to be one of the best. They claim to run their servers on volatile RAM rather than hard drives. They had a $100 deal for 15 months. Some of the VPNs leak DNS, IP or WebRTC. Some also report to government officials behind your back. We can't trust any of them 100% so the best we can do is to do our due diligence.

I tried Windscribe... I have a mac with Sierra on it.

I use Brave. I'm not sure which Windscribe to use... for Mac or Firefox?

THe mac legacy thing didn't seem to load. When I run Windscribe in Firefox the internet no longer works!

If I want to successfully go to an internet site, I have to turn off Windscribe?

Any tips for a clown would be appreciated :)

Most VPN's are not reliable. NordVPN is one of them.

There are two that are on the top: OVPN and Perfect Privacy. They have proven in the past, that they will not hand over data to anyone. (OVPN for example refused to hand over any data from pirate bay to "rights alliance" (what a stupid name :hahaha:))
