VSTs appearing as folders

    Hi guys,

    First post in here, I was wobndering if anyone knew how to solve a few of my VSTs appearing as folders?

    They have a .vst extension, but appear as folders not files

    Thanks in advance!

    Bad version of crack where they mess up the file structure can cause it. I think VR had a Roland release that behaved the same way. I deleted it and downloaded a crack from another team instead

    It's most likely a mistake you do during the installation process. Make sure that the last line in the installation path is your vst folder. Some vst's offer their own path. Something like C:\Program Files\VST\BestSynthever\ Delete "BestSynhtever" in the installation path.
    There are exceptions, unfortunately. Some installations don't even offer a choice of destination. But in most cases you can just cut and paste their .dll's to any destination with no problems.
