    Not sure if it was ever related but definitely preceded it. It was a great community around the early and mid 2k's ... always wondered if there was anyone here who remembers it or was a part of it at some point.

    I'll bring up a real oldie that probably very few will know or remember an FTP site called Mitosis which had just about everything available for audio and music production and graphics as well as any other app available, this was back in the days of Windows 98 and 56k phone line modems. The apps were small, efficient power packed and always worked flawlessly, no over bloated programs like today.

    Was it a russian server? I used a couple of ftp sites back in the day, couldnt tell you the names though. Used emule as well.

    I'll do you one better and raise you $5000. Who remembers the site real_rap_talk_.com? That was like the strip club of the pirate community. You could go relax and watch a nice p0rn video, while you wait for Hypersonic 2 to finish downloading.

    I was an Audiofarmer! Great site. That was a time when the audio groups were releasing floods of new releases just about every day! I could barely keep up! And then the farm vanished :( There were a couple of other sites that fell by the wayside as well. In the early 2000s even

    Suprnova and Mininova were also good "regular" sites to find stuff.

    In the late 90s I used Bubba Zenneti's Wild Leech Ranch for audio warez.
