I'm running Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 on Windows 10. I use Ableton, Reaper and Fl Studio. All 64bit. My Omnisphere is taking more than 30 seconds to open and patches and presets take several seconds to load up. Any tips to make it faster? Is it a Windows 10 problem? This is driving me crazy.

@Luka When you first joined the Forum, I remember advising you to search the Forum before posting any questions. I guess you forgot all about it. Have you done so, a search would have pointed you to a thread I recently authored titled 'How to Improve Omnisphere's Loading Time and Performance (Windows)" Here is the link:https://audiosex.pro/threads/how-to-improve-omnispheres-loading-time-and-performance-windows.38416/
In the future use the "Search" option. It is your friend. It will save you time and contribute to keep the Forum clean of unnecessary repetitiousness.

Is your Omnisphere library stored on a SSD? It can be a huge performance improvement compared to saving it on a HDD.

@TonyG Thank you, thank you, thank you. I followed your tips and my Omnisphere is opening now in less than 5 seconds and patches load up instantly. Anyone reading this thread should pay attention to what @TonyG has to say when it comes to Spectrasonics. Just as he does with legal issues, he is an Spectrasonics Guru.

  6. I had same problem, I solved my problems while delete STEAM > Omnisphere > Soundsources > Factory > Core Library > zmap.index and I re-load the omnisphere and Omnisphere more faster than old. It worked for me! Maybe I can help someone who has the same problem with me. I hope I can. :)

kibox said 4 months ago that this trick worked for him, so it may have different result depending of your exact situation.
Also, you may describe each steps you've done to check why things went wrong.

As far as I understand zmap.index file should be created again by Omnisphere when missing.

Did you use the refresh button in the library tab?
