    Greetings,

I just recently upgraded motherboards and had to reinstall my Win OS.

I have all my libraries and xml's in the proper places from before I upgraded yet the service center doesnt read any of them at all. No libraries come up when I open Kontakt 5 as well. Oddly enough my Kontakt 6 still says "Full" instead of Demo, but yet no libraries are found on that one as well. My SNID files are properly numbered and matching. I am at a lost of what to do next.

I thought new motherboard = new machineID ?
Doesn't even matter if you had created a bootable clone of your old OS, as far as I know.

    Welcome to AS!

I believe thats correct but I guess I was under the impression that it would work since most of my other VST's were working.
The main issue is I can even get service center to pick up my library even though the xml's are in there.
    Any help?

    And thank you!

xml is only a validation part to load the libraries, it dont tell where they are installed.
the location use a regedit path.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Library name
ContentDir should point to libraries folders

you can use add lib.exe (comming with kontakt) to assign your folders, you can chose a global folder with libraries inside to add many one's in one clic.

    Thank you for this reply.

Few questions. Do I need the service center to point to the library folder or do I need Kontakt 5 to?
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Kontakt 5
When I get here what am I looking for? I dont see any library paths in there. Only
    Default
    KEY
    SNO
    SYSTEMID

    edit: also is
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Content
what you meant? or did you mean Kontakt when you said "Library Name"

Don't worry about the registry yet. First try to add the libs with the Add Library tool that comes with Kontakt. Like @bobdule say.
If it doesn't work then perhaps you need to get your hands dirty with registry and service center files (xml)
