I watch Gary Vee videos from time to time, and he is bold in his dream of buying the New York Jets one day.
“Record a full length album” was my big one last year, felt great to accomplish that. Now I’m working on a plugin.
Just wanted to give everyone a chance to declare their dreams out loud.

    @Gyro Gearloose
Wow! I wasn't expecting this. Thanks so much GG! That is fascinating. Someone's gone and done it. During the last few days I've been wondering how to rig up a speaker system that fits on my chair and presses against my back.

I'm one of those unusual people who is profoundly deaf, and I'm a fan of percussionist Evelyn Glennie who is also profoundly deaf. Her skill and energy is inspiring - she plays live instruments of all kinds so her body is open to the resonances that surround her when she plays. That's different to sitting in a chair in front of a computer with way-cranked-up headphones and playing with softsynths and an M1 keyboard. Your link is inspiring and has awakened a number of possibilities.

With such a lavishly produced website SubPac have gone all out to impress, so I was expecting to see a huge price for their hardware. Not so. Under $500 in the US.

I'm looking at my Behringer Truth B2031A 100w powered monitors which will wake the neighbors when cranked up. I don't think I'll cannibalize them but I think they have a slave speaker out which may be the way to go. Time to explore.

    Thanks again GG!

Hi again GG. I meant to add this Evelyn Glennie link you might enjoy:

She has a warehouse full of exotic percussion instruments collected over the years. I first heard her play when she was in her early 20's. I put her and my music/sounds in the too-hard basket basket for many years, but am now looking again. She and I are both older and greyer. She has been made a 'Dame' but I remain just me, very ordinary :)

To turn it down as much as I can so I'd be able to make music. You know audio and music are 2 different things.

I'm writing a book about the differences between C major and D minor.

Seriously speaking, I just want to release this current shit I'm working on. It feels great when you finish something. And it feels depressing when you're doing nothing. :(

Eating Rihanna's WAP. I'd make industry grade percussion sounds down there....I know it.

just a comment regarding your first post. its interesting to get reminded how many people register here trying to make an entrance or impression and fail so catastrophically and miserably and derail becoming spammers etc, because they simple are not honest in their approach.

yet you managed a nice one in the first post, so simple and smooth

My biggest goal right now in audio is to get updated versions of kontakt superior and gullfoss.

I have no other goals in audio, Sir. For me audio is a journey not a destination so I journey until I can't journey no more.

A finger/thumb pick being one of those nail extension things.
Are you sure you wouldn't like a plectrum with GPS instead?
Yes, I am pedantic with words.
Yes, I know everyone incorrectly calls a plectrum a pick.
    Maybe you play banjo though?
