    Hi guys.

    I'm quite satisfied with my Radeon RX 560 4GB running 3 displays in full HD. My current daw is Studio ONE, I have no relevant isues running at low latencies (Device Block Size 128 samples / Dropout Protection: Minimum). My doubt is: which driver is the most suitable for DAW envirnment. Someone over there with experience using both drivers?
    1) Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2 or;
    2) Radeon ™ Pro Software for Enterprise (20.Q3). [Select this driver if you are a content creator engaged in workflows like Computer Aided Design (CAD), video editing, animation, and graphic design. Radeon™ Pro Software for Enterprise is tested against over 100 professional applications. Built to help content creators make the best, Radeon™ Pro Software for Enterprise is designed to deliver more quality, performance, security, and simplicity] ****no mention about music production

    I'm currently using Enterprise, but I haven't found anything on the internet about which of these two types of drivers would work best for us.

    Thanks in advance :)

    usually enterprise/professional drivers have nothing to do with audio workflows, since many studios run Macs (with drivers natively integrated with each MacOS build) or integrated graphics (for which motherboard manufacturers usually provide tested drivers, although often fairly outdated) or prebuilt workstations (again manufacturers providing drivers explicitly on their sites),
    I'd say don't fix what isn't broken.....and if you wish to experiment, then you can try both and compare

    Thanks Tzzxmk!! I just installed the "adrenaline" version. Running the same project, same plugins and latency settings... I'm noticing some annoying clicks on the sound - every 30 ~ 40 seconds. (very audible soloing the kick drum - triggered from NI battery). Apparently, this version has additional features for Gamersa and maybe itsn't good in daw environments. I will now return to a clean install of the "enterprise" version.

    Hi.
    Errr... First of all i am sorry to correct evolasme and it may seem confusing at first, but the Pro driver is not a driver specifically for Radeon Pro GPUs (workstation grade AMD gpus). Any modern Radeon can work with it flawlessly, at least on paper because the latest Navi Radeons exhibit many problems with all drivers regardless lol, but this is not the subject of course.
    The Radeon Pro driver is a modified version of Adrenalin. If you look closely to the download size it's about the same if not identical. Still, because of the Pro nature of the driver, AMD likes to base the built of this "enterprise" driver on older versions of Adrenalin, in fact the ones that are the most stable. In some cases the Pro driver was based on an Adrenalin built one year before the current one. But hey, stability is the most wanted here. If the latest games is not your thing, then the Pro driver is usually a more stable version and can also game as well. The different features are geared mostly towards visual content creators, so nothing to do with audio as correctly my friend tzzmsk pointed out.
    Cheers:)

    Oh yes Taskforce.. you're right... basically an older "stable" Adrenalin driver. I read similar things out there. Either way I will go by Enterprise.. Peace :winker::like:

    All i was going on was what the AMD enterprise compatibility chart was saying. and now i see they are listed as supporting 500 series drivers. so. i stand corrected
