Well, actually giving the full address is against the rules. Something I discovered not long ago, I myself always use AZ out of commodity to refer to the sister site.

Oh this is a open signups group on reddit and they talking about yesterday opened audionews site. Don't worry I don't end up as seedbox or with monhtly subscription. I had account here 5 years ago, after few downloads I abandoned it and start using rutracker. Audionews is a good site but has shitty ratio requirements. Rutracker has almost everything like audionews but without any restriction so it's better.
About morrons, don't worry only one half brained person wrote meaningless "audioz is shit" so fuck him.

Support AZ by atleast downloading some small stuffs, it's a little contribution to AZ for better future.

You can go for Audioscene too, but never downloaded anything there and rutracker is great for me when i wanna download bigger files

No need for hurt, mate... it's only one comment and the guy lost 3 reddit karma for it (equivalent of 3 nasty votes here, for those who don't know reddit). There's two people who jumped in and defended the site. The first comment looks kinda rude but the guy was saying "other than (insert sister site here), this is the best". So yes, the sister site remains king and there is not much contest to this. Almost everything comes there first.
But the comment you are referring to, the guy said "(sister site) is shit". Now this could just be someone who got banned from the sister site for ruthless behavior. Or they're just mad about something completely irrelevant to it and they had a minor negative experience on there that triggered them to say that. Who knows. You never know what someone is going through. But I think we can establish his opinion was rather unpopular. So.... this is good news

I had an AudioNews account in 2014-2015. I didn't like the general way the place was run (seedbox, donations almost forced, etc)

The vibe I got for AudioNews was like trying to get into a really high maintenance clique. "Do you wanna be good enough for us? Then you must do this... this too. That wasn't fast enough. Hurry up! That's not quite what we wanted. Are you trying to disappoint us? C'mon! 100% isn't enough. Bare minimum is 150% and 3 of your kidneys. Don't have 3 kidneys? Sorry, pleb. Get outta here."

So I just stuck with sister site. No regrets. Plus I just found it to be a pretty friendly community as long as you got some respect. "Yess... come on in, mate. Here's the rules... here's what we're about... pretty simple right? Yeahh help yourself, mate. "
