You know some cheap equivalent analog synths?

Hi Roject it's Roject here. I know Behringer clones. Model D is nice but not cheap.
Don't expect a miracle. Analog synths are not cheap.
What a cheap means for you? Cheap-cheapest cheap for you isn't the cheapest cheapy-cheap for someone else.

the Behringer poly D is similar to the monopoly in many ways, the cheapest equivalent of the minimoog is the behringer model D, which is insanely cheap for what you get...if your budget doesnt stretch to behringer prices you probably shouldnt be thinking too hard about analog synths

 

I would like to have polyphony in synth. It's a nice thing.
Isn't a Behringer Poly D has a fake polyphony?

 

It has 4 voices...paraphonic...mono-, unison- and polyphonic

What about Korg Minilogue XD?

 

I own a Minilogue XD. It sounds so much like a Moog that my next synth purchase will be a Subsequent 37. (ie not at all)

If you really want a Moog, nothing else will fill that Moog shaped hole in your soul.

 

If you want something that sounds like a Minimoog you can't find anything better than a Behringer Model D for that price really, Behringer Model D is very good and the price is very good too, it sounds like a Minimoog indeed, you will struggle to hear any difference in a blind test. I have one, something else i can say is that the distortion can go way harder in the Behringer compared to the Minimoog and if you are not satisfied you can add even more distortion sending the external out inside the "ext" input again and have even more distortion. This is a very good comparison:

 

MOOG synths sound the way they do MOSTLY due to their filter. It is a 24dB ladder filter and it is what gives MOOG synths their unique sound, for the most part. At the very least the filter has more effect than anything else on their sound.
