Hi, I tried all the steps below, I opened Omnisphere it opens but I get NOTICE: The STEAM folder does not have write permission. Change permissions on STEAM folder, and all STEAM subfolders, to include Write access. I click OK and then I get NOTICE: STEAM folder is not writable. I click OK and then I get NOTICE: User Keyscape library contains inconsistent index data. Go to Multi browser and click the refresh (reload) button. Omnisphere opens but I get no sound from any of the patches there.

I can't figure this out!

 

I'm also stuck at this point. Would you mind just explaining to me how it can be resolved?

I got it to work. I followed the thread closely. The problem that I ran into was the Spectrasonics folder I created on an external drive I had to make sure before I installed it was not write protected. The second time trying I didn't make an alias. as stated here:
STEP 3 (optional)
Create an alias to the Spectrasonics Folder which should be placed at the location in STEP 2. if you have not placed the actual Spectrasonics folder there.
So before running an install and after doing this step: STEP 6(a)
1. Unzip Step 6 archive and run Keygen App.
2. Move the VST and AU plugins from "Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/(Components/VST)" to a new folder with write access.
3. PATCH the all the Omnisphere VST and AU plugins. Patch means click the "Patch" button in the keygen and direct it to the plugins; a dialog will open requiring you to point to the plugin you want to patch. The Keygen App will see the Mac plugin as just another folder. What you need to patch is inside the plugin; "plugin(seen as a folder)/Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere".
4. Move the plugins back into their respective folders; "Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/(Components/VST)".

I made sure that the Spectrasonics folder is BatChmod first stated earlier in STEP 2(b), then I made sure that all the folders inside were Read & Write enabled. Then I installed Omnisphere as stated in the steps. The install saw where the STEAM folder was located and it worked fine after all that.

You really have to follow the steps closely and make sure the permissions are right and the the Spectrasonics folders are Read & Write enabled and that you make sure really pay close attention to everything and this step is important STEP 6(a).

Hey, after trying like 15-20h to install it maybe someone could help me, I just don't know what I did wrong.
STEP 1 is done and I got that Folder(88,73GB) named Spectrasonics which contains the STEAM folder. So it can't be wrong.
STEP 2a is also done, drag and dropped the Spectrasonics folder to ~/Library/Application Support/ I think you can't do something wrong in this step
STEP 2b is also done, tried it 4 times with the different check boxes in Batchmod
STEP 5+6a there are also no problems, drag and drop the .vst and .component file to my desktop, give the permissions with Batchmod and patch them with the keygen, after that it says "patched succesfully", so I drag and drop the files back to their vst/component folder.
STEP 6b If I wanna open Omnisphere now it says "STEAM Folder not found. Do u want to locate it?" If I locate it it says its not a valid STEAM folder.
Would be VERY thankful if someone could tell me what's my fault ist or how I can resolve the issue, you would make my day

Which dlls do i replace? I'm stuck after clicking patch on the keygen for macOS

 

Dlls are for Windows, not macOS.

 

You CAN'T patch Keyscape with keygen. I patched the latest one, and it can be found on sister site as well as the ones you need that were patched by @baldman
