If I downgrade my macOS from Catalina to Mojave, will my plugins stop working?

Catalina has good sides too: it's the main reason why I started going dawless:

I usually record jams on audio cassette.
Problem solved: Apple is no longer responsible for what I can or cannot play

But that cost quite money, how sad is today Mac world without a good OS and some new warez.
Really hope it get replaced soon by a good open Linux distro for music.
Why to stick on Cupertino philosophy is a real mystery to me.

Steve Jobs died way back in 2011: in the Apple policy, his visionary ideas have now vanished. Switch to Windows OS to produce music is even worse and Linux is little taken into consideration by vst developers. The only possible exit strategy for me is to go back to the real thing.
By the way: having my hands on external gear is also much more fun to play and, I don't know why, but the results acheived are completely different from virtual instruments

Because not everyone gives a shit about loads of cracked software? Some people actually buy it - I know that's hard for some people to grasp but it does actually happen otherwise no one would keep creating software to begin with.

    Developers have to eat too.
