Assembled this last week.. Great Quality & comfort (£200) its not for slobbing about on & watching TV.. its got decent adjustments with nice long back & head rest.. Defo a recommendation on a budget

 

nice you can even adjust the horizontal distance between the armrests.
Some month ago I bought a cheap Trust gaming char and it was a total uncomfortable desaster, I sent it back after stating that it totally suxx to amazon, and amazon accepted the return even after a month

 

This company seems to have good price quality ratio chairs.
I say seems because I haven't tried them but it would be one of my first options to check if I buy one.

Ah, bliss! @Gyro Gearloose found the chair that perfectly matches my 5th wife. Slim, lightweight, fashionable but minimally functional. Also, f#@*ing expensive.

 

Guys, from the aforementioned chairs, which has the highest seat height (but lowest default). I have one that scks because the gas cilinder failed so fast... so now it's super low to me (I hate low seat chairs to death).

So, to be cleared, I want something that even if the gas cilinder was to fail, the lowest it would go is maybe 70 (ish) cm from the floor to the seat.

Who invents these things...

 

all new products when not expensive really suck in compare to 20 years ago...its a economic down cycle....quantity over quality

 

The chairs that I spent 1200 bucks each on back in '94 have really nothing on comfort or quality of materials on the one that I found on the street 14 years ago. The back tilts back and the height can be adjusted and I never needed the minutae of angles here and there that the high tech ones offered. This is all I need. There are no arm rests to get in the way of my playing guitar and the wheels roll like a skateboard and have been trouble free for all these years. Also the fabric has not worn at all, zero, and it is comfy enough to sit for hours if I need to (but can't because of a coxyxx injury) . So go out there and hit the streets, you never know what is waiting to come home with you (hookers don't count, Xupito).



The edge where my thighs hit and rub...no pilling, no nuthin'.

 

Aeron can be found on Craiglist for nearly half and the seat area is replaceable.

No, I fell square into my coccyx after misstepping and then loosing my balance inadvertently on a box rolling conveyor. I landed on the raised 2 inch rail and knocked myself out when the back of my head hit a gating machine. The reason that I landed the way that I did was because I knew that if I didn't tuck my head into my chest my brains would have been splattered when I hit the solid steel of that machine. What bore tbe brunt of my weight was my coccyx landing perfectly on that narrow strip of railing. It was a perfect fuckup. It looked like this.



Take a step, go airborn, come down hard, wake up with your head bleeding and insane pain like skinheads kicked until their boots turned red just above the crack of your ass. It still hurts almost 5 years later.

I'm in my fifties and i still experience residual coccyx pain after a fall that took place when i was a teenager. Not really painful, just an ache but can still cause problems on long coach journeys etc.

 

I feel your pain,I slipped on ice 20 years ago and fell on my coccyx.It was less serious than your injury though.
