in my experience, the problem was with the ausence of the '"Multis" Folder. In my case the folder permissions were correct.




I assumed the problem was related to the absence of the Multis folder, sorry

 

As I said, everyone should have a Multis subfolder but if anyone does not, and the permissions are as they should, Keyscape WILL open. Just test it yourself. Grab your Multis subfolder, and place it on desktop. Open Keyscape and when the error message pops up, click "OK." It will open albeit without the Multis subfolder.

 

Excuse me, are you still doing TeamViewer help to install it? Went through the reg cleanup and did step by step but I somehow managed to not get it right, would really appreciate it.

ok, I am a new user. I found this site, via google search. I am also a former at&t internet installer who had to go in and fix people's issues and assist with virus removal. I am going to try this fix. Make no mistake, I can follow the steps. Its not hard at all. If it fails, you got another think coming, if you think its on me.

Understand something. You are getting random people. they have background, less than, and greater than you. assuming that "I can do it, and if you can't its your fault" ignores a major point...
the original designer actively altering its program, the original maker DELIBERATELY making its own bootleg that fails (this was done by record labels during lime wire years) and more. It could be, that TODAY, the patch doesnt work. Just as the guy who came up with the keygen, felt it worked . And it likely did.. and then it didnt.
this is the wild west. Lets not pretend that its not. we all may not actually have the same download anymore. You realize that dont you?

secondly, I have seen post after post... and a person will say "I cant get it to work as a Plug in, just a stand alone. the plug in keeps asking for the authorization"
And there is never any answers after that except "In box me"
Which I can understand why that is. But understand that leads to giant threads of "hook me up" answers and people charging others for answers AND YES the MAKER getting involved and deliberately making a fail.

So I'm just throwing it out there. as a person who has been Help desk for people. YOU NEVER KNOW whats going on in a world like this, from the Original maker and what they have done to place a wrench in things. Dont' assume the world is all idiots. re is a missing step. the other issue with assuming everyone else is wrong, is the instructions given. EVERYONE isnt as well versed as you. thats not a bad thing. If you place yourself out there as help, understand that. Here is the error in the instructions. You may see it as logical. Others may not. they are not inferior for not knowing what you know:

1. Click Select a principal to add your user account.
2. On the "Select User or Group" page, click the Find Now button.
3. From the search result, select your user account, and click OK.
4. On the "Select User or Group" page, click OK.

that is missing a step. Based on this portion of the directions, "find now" will be missing. here is the correction

1. Click Select a principal to add your user account.
2. On the "Select User or Group" page, click the ADVANCE button at the bottom. this action will pull up another "select User or group" page.
3. On that new "Select User or Group" page, click the Find Now button
   
4. From the search result, select your user account, and click OK.
5. On the "Select User or Group" page, click OK.

a second issue is "user account" once at that step.
that list looks like goobily goop to many people. You may be taking people into the PC where they have never ever seen. they may not even HAVE a custom named user account. So what are they to select from? this might sound elemental to you. But it wasnt before you learned it.

 

I installed it, and I USED NO KEYGEN anything once following his instructions.. the STAND ALONE AND the VST now work. I DID NOT erase the pasted folders that I did in the previous attempts when using his instruction. HOWEVER, I cleaned the old install with C-cleaner and the reg file cleaner it has. >> for kicks, I listened to him and installed those two programs for searching and cleaning my PC from old files. I did as he said. Sure enough, cCleaner didnt get rid of everything. I deleted it as he instructed.

And continued. I am using Propellerhed's Reason 11 (reason studios. I guess they changed the name because the term "propellerhead" was making it too easy to find their product in a google search, so they changed the name to something that doesnt come up at all. I guess the name "a daw" wasnt available. )

I suppose the separate drive was exFAT or FAT32 formatted, and those file systems don't support file permissions, so what you did is essentially erased file permissions on folders and files and unintentionally made new ones [that made you the owner of those] when you copied them back to NTFS disk.

First thing you have to do is update all your Omnisphere components and place them on a single folder on your desktop.
