Just to add to your growing knowledge; there is no such thing as a cracked library. Only 'shared libraries'.

 

Wait. Back up for me bro. So I need to get two Kontakt versions? 5.6 as standalone and 6.1.1 as sampler on my daw? The link you PM'd me I need to download that and after that I need to download the 6.1.1 as well?

I have the Tina Gun cello 2 library also I am looking for cinematic strings 2 library. So would you be kind enough to check for both

 

New version releases have already come with that extra file (Kontakt 5.6.0 app), no need to install two different versions, you install the new (6.*.*) and you will find the 5.6.0 standalone app next to the standalone of the new version. It's just an extra file that you open when you want to add a library, then you close it. No need to use it for loading instruments, just for the adding lib process.

Okay. I have the version 5.6.0 that sent me through the link and I have a v6.1.1 also. I am still unable to add the .nicnt file or rather the library. Adding a screenshot of the contents of the library I want to add and the screenshot of the folder contents of the unzipped .rar file of Contact 5.6.0. I don't think I got the whole proper file for the contact download it did show an error at the end of the unzipping

I tried adding the library and unless I am mistaken I use the .nicnt file to add the library from the standalone app. However my contact app shows the folder and the file but does not le me select it.

I have kontakt 6.3.1 along with 5.6.6
when libraries added to 5.6.6 they don't show up in 6.3.1(inside daw)

library shows outside on 5.6.6 but not inside the daw. and this makes it useless and defeats the purpose.
how can I add the libs in the daw man..

can't figure out why the libs won't show on Kontakt 6.3.1 inside daw.. but will only show in 5.6.0 version.

 

I'm having the same trouble as @wokedawg too. I tried multiple k'd downloads. I even find the activate button against the library when adding it to the standalone v5 app (though its k'd. I checked the about screen to confirm as well).

 

You guys both need to check your .xml files in Service Centre.
If they say an SNPID # of <000> then it needs to be changed to the SNPID # in the .nicnt.
Read and edit with TextEdit.

 

I did that too and nothing changed. I uninstalled the app completely and tried another k'd setup. Now I cant even find the library on both 5 and 6. When I tried re-adding the library, 5 says it still exists though I cant see anything in the list. I so want to try the NI Noire

 

Newer libs won't show up in 5; they don't need to.
Also, were you getting any .tmp files appear on your desktop when adding libs?
I don't know your OS etc, so it's hard to pinpoint your problem.
Noire is for 6.0.4+

 

Yes they were popping up on my desktop. I'm on Mojave. What should I do to get Noire work on my Mac? Your help is much appreciated, friend

Ah. So rename .tmp to .xml, and rename the file as per the name of lib found in the .nicnt file.
Put the .xml file in Service Centre folder.
Done.

 

I will try that. Do you suggest any k'd setups in particular that I could try and have lesser problems. I just need noire to run.

Can't vouch for a release I haven't used, but can vouch for dada. Didn't know Cashmere and Dada were linked in any way.

These add lib workarounds are just standard with non-legit Kontakt on macOS.
