The header says it all. I'm trying to find bands/artists that sound somewhat like this:

So I don't waste anyone's time, I'm very aware of Skold, Psyclon 9, many of those artists, but I've never been able to find something as minimal and dark as Not my God. I've tried Witch house, but I've never found anything that tickles my balls.

I know this isn't going to appeal to many people, but hoping someone on here might point me in the right direction of some little gem that I've missed.

 

Man, I've not heard Powerman 5000 in years. When Worlds Collide was always a favourite at the metal clubs I used to go to. Every weekend without fail.

Did you know that Spider One from Powerman 5000 is Rob Zombie's brother? Random useless fact.

Appreciate the suggestion, and definitely gonna laugh at that.

Despite industrial being my main kinda style, there's not a great deal of bands that I know, or like. Rammstien are one of those bands. People don't get how I can't stand Rammstien. I just don't see the appeal. There might be a deep rooted sense of shame that I've not addressed. The first time I heard Rammstien was when my mum got me the 1998 Family Values Tour on VHS. Damn, that makes me feel old. Anyway, I was watching it with my mum and my grandma, Rammstein came on and played Büch Dich. I don't know if you've ever seen the live video, but here it is:

The 15 year old me did not know what the fuck to do with himself. I can't even begin to imagine what my mum and grandma must have thought. I feel a bit red in the face from remembering it.

 

@Parasite-B - how about Nachtmar. Does that tickle your fancy?

@No Avenger turned me onto them a couple of years ago. Since then, I think I've managed to collect most of their discography from 2007 thru 2019. Quite a lot of it anywayz. Approx 2.02 Gigs worth in MP3 320 kbps format. 17 or 18-ish albums.

Not exactly the same but these are what immediately came to my mind when I heard the track and saw the video. They all have a similar sense of intensity and darkness to them but take different approaches to said themes.

 

Thanks everybody, Metal has never been a genre that tickled my own balls, but this more mellow version is certainly caressing and impressing them.
