who does not express exactly what reflects your thinking is an enemy and should be eliminated, right? Gyro, each of your threads/posts is extremely loaded with stress... I believe you are too rigid: with this attitude there will never be a person on the entire planet with whom you will be in peace. In this case it is easy to find a comfortable target: trolls. Could it be that you probably are not in peace with yourself and transfer the blame on others for this inconvenience? think about it

Everyday life for most people isn't exactly bliss, so it's understandable why people may want to troll/ joke every now and then. I'm sure everyone has to be serious 95% of the time outside audiosex/ the internet in general. This is why SAiNT allowed the Lounge forum to exist.

You want AS to be strictly audio related content (like KVR) and that is understandable, however people here still posts serious content. There are jokes every few days but there is equally still serious stuff for you to engage with. It's not even up to 10% jokes on here.

A final point, lets take a look at the name of this site - Audiosex.

Not exactly the most serious name.

I had to scroll back up because based on the majority of the comments (including mine) I thought that we were in the Humor section.

 

@The Pirate Most people voted against @Gyro Gearloose's poll anyway.

Gyro also made his poll in a biased form with the agenda of trying to make people vote "Yes", he purposely put "Yes" as the first choice even though alphabetically speaking "N" (No) comes before "Y" (Yes).

@RD1LDN Certainly, people did not vote against @Gyro Gearloose. They voted against what he proposed. If it were a different proposition i would have said that they voted as they did because of who the OP is. However, this forum has been reluctant to embrace such rules. I said earlier that a year ago I had created a similar thread, and the members wanted to kill me. Just like some members did in that thread, some of you who don't like @Gyro Gearloose are now jumping on him like vultures. Yet as bad as some of you think that he is, we have 100x much worst here. Some are not trolls but are toxic, and hateful individuals that ONLY participate to create drama, and afterwards hide like the rats they are. I personally don't have a problem with @Gyro Gearloose nor with the idea he posited which can be implemented without the need for more rules which the administration has refused to adopt. Indeed, trolls can be reported. Off topic comments can, and should be regulated by the OP.

Edit: I forgot to mention, for those rats I have the infamous bitch attack.

Same here, I have no problem with @Gyro Gearloose but we have the lounge and humour sections for a reason right? So there is a place to post off-topic stuff. I don't only participate in Lounge discussions I also engage with serious threads, I'm sure even the biggest trolls/ jokers on here also contribute to serious audio topics. This thread was probably sounding to most people like Gyro wanted humour removed from Audiosex because Gyro always critiques the big trolls on here. So I can see where they would be misconstrued.

Of course administration would not adopt the suggestions about making AS serious topics only, that would be a bad idea. If people want to discuss serious only stuff there is KVR and many other of those lifeless forums. This place wouldn't have any traffic without the wide variety of characters we have here. Here you are able to be yourself and you are not censored.
