At least we do have some honest members left in this forum. People like @CharlieCrizzle who is not afraid to tell the world that he is willing to commit murder in exchange for the link to UVI Falcon. Imagine what good Charlie would be willing to do for the link to the BIOSTHUTool that activates Soothe? Or Kontakt 7 Patched?

Dude read what I wrote. The Romanians are the one that cracked that Rapid synth. People are waiting for it to get cracked but it has been cracked already by some Romanian cracking team who call themselves The Gypsy Kings. Therefore, r2r has no reason to crack something that had been properly cracked even though some people are not aware that a crack already exist. Why waste time cracking something that is cracked when you can crack whatever has never been cracked before? That is what makes cracking so exciting to crackers that crack all the shit that you download cracked from sites that have the crack cracked by the crackers that crack what people request to be cracked.

Fake news! We made a deal. By replying to the overwhelming amount requests for UVI Falcon, @famouslut was given the secret link and password to site where all internal releases are kept. So I am not worried about it.

More interesting would be what we will do . (By the way I own legit copy of Falcon )

Even for legit users this would be interesting

Open system means open presets .

... But I think UVI would just simply bring a new Version with a new Ilok and some new features like Record Samples direct or Audio in for Effects , Vocoder , or something still missing .

    You mean again :bleh:

When my parents got married in 1959 my father sold the the pace car from the 1954 Indianapolis 500 that he had bought a couple of years earlier, a Ford Crestline Sunliner Converable and traded it in for a 1959 Ford Falcon, normal family car (which he gave away to the guy who owned the Shell Station just off of the Long Island Expressway and next to the Fire Department in Corona, Queens to make room for the Black 1968 Pontiac GTO that he craved. 428 cu in, 7015 cc. Power: 390 hp @ 5200 rpm. Now, that was hardware...and it got about 6 mpg. In 1975 he sold it to a colleague at work's son to buy a van to haul us kids around, baseball, football teams, etc, and the kid totaled it by slamming into a Mr. Softy truck a week later).

Back in the day there was a legit need for cracking software. The computers were't as powerful or as well specced with inputs and outputs, and dongles/copy protection really did put a strain on them. Even legit users were using cracked versions for the performance boost. "Music for the masses" Well in hindsight, the masses have not only killed music, flooding the world with garbage. What's the point even having these things, if you can't write anything of merit in the first place. But yet the demand to crack this and crack that keep coming. Ultimately killing many of the software developers. No< I don't think they'd be happy .

And the same shit continues to happen today as back in the day...as you said. Protection continues to eat resources. Programs take longer to open. Presets take longer to load. Things are sluggish. Protection is a nuisance. Period. and the worst thing is that it affects only the legit user.

Sometimes you can't get a "retail" installer. many manufacturers provide you with a demo installer that differs from the retail one. Sometimes by comparing them you gain information that potentially can help you circumvent the developer's protection scheme. Moreover, I don't recommend uploading a program with your license, unless it was purchased with a pre paid card or whatever cant be traced back to you. One thing is sharing your license with someone with the knowledge to reverse engineer the protection scheme, and another is sharing it with the whole world.
