@vu nguyen I don't use iPad to make music, however, I know that you can go to AudioZ, and download both apps. Try them, and if you like one or both don't be cheap and buy it.

hi. Because I'm not home. or going around so I want to optimize all my devices for the most compact
Part of the ad I think the ads look good and I haven't updated the technology lately so I think I can replace the laptop with hihi
but maybe I should still use a laptop because if I use the app on ipad it doesn't look cheap haha

I haven't tried iMaschine 2 but Beatmaker 3 is solid. Perfect companion when your stomach is acting up and you're spending most of your time on the throne. Or when you're hospitalized.

It's basically an MPC2000 workalike, you get to chop samples, sequence them (you can use external MIDI gear), use plugins like Animoog. And then you can render your stuff out per track, put them in iCloud and it's all there on your computer to carry the tune further.

It's wicked fun picking up a tune from your music library, chopping it up and trying to create something out of it, kinda like modern digital crate digging.

i have imaschine2 and beatmaker2, compared to maschine it's nothing special, beatmaker2 (and i'm guessing 3) has a lot more functions than imaschine2, AU support FE is not in imaschine2, imaschine2 is pure sample based while beatmaker3 supports external audio apps, effects etc.

tbh it's really not a comparison, beatmaker3 = closer to full DAW, imaschine2 = 4 channel sample player + some internal effects

and to answer the question "should i use an ipad to make music?" well you can if you want, i did a remix for an industrial band that i made on the ipad, i was able to record all the tracks on ipad synths but the quality isnt all that. basically i would advice to use it as a way to record quick ideas and work those out on a pc or mac with a full DAW.
